This coin is 99.9% with every year having a new design of the kookaburra. The obverse side of the coin depicts Queen Elizabeth II and the reverse side is a different kookaburra design each year. The 1 troy-ounce coin has a 1-dollar face value. The 2 troy ounce coin has a 2-dollar face value. The 10-troy ounce coin has a face value of Australian 10 dollars. The 1-kilogram coin has a face value of 30 dollars Australian. The coins are issued in individual hard plastic capsules and shrink-wrapped in rolls of twenty. The coins are issued in bullion uncirculated and proof versions, however, the proof coins were not issued each year.
